KMPDC Courses

This course is designed to improve the quality of training, reduce the risk of accidents to impart knowledge of different types of diving equipment, and safe operation procedures and emergency procedures used in “Surface Supplied Diving” using commercial diving equipment.
This course is designed for divers and non-divers who would like more knowledge and training on surface supplied diving equipment. The course will teach safe air manifold operations and maintenance, setting up dive stations, hooking up dive equipment and testing equipment before the dive.
Dive Safety Training(DAN) course represents training specifically designed for divers who dive as part of their job duties. It is not appropriate or designed for recreational divers.
This course is designed for a minimum of a 6 man Dive Team, either using dry suits with Magnum Rubber Hoods for full face masks or dry suits with Kirby Morgan neck dam lock in yokes with helmets. This will give the diver total encapsulation inside the helmet and dry suit.
The helmet and Band Mask course is designed and intended to teach commercial divers, public safety divers, “SST” Surface Support Technician, ”SSD” Surface Supplied Divers, and Tenders how to perform routine maintenance, inspections and repairs of Kirby Morgan Helmets and Band masks and instructs personnel in the KMDSI/KMPDC recommended configuration and use of KMDSI Helmets & Masks.
